The One Thing Needed to Achieve Greatness
“Greatness and its contemplator: The noblest effect of greatness is that it gives the contemplator a power of vision that magnifies and embellishes.” - Nietzsche
In order to do great things, a great vision is required. Have you ever tried to do something great or that exceeds what most others do? If so, you’ll realize something very quickly…
You have to have a massive goal with an enormous vision to see that enormous goal through. So many obstacles and challenges appear along the way to stop us from achieving our great goals in life. If we don’t have a powerful vision that magnifies our great goals, we’re at risk of collapsing. We risk giving up along the way.
MY GREAT GOAL
I have my own great goals and struggles. I’ve envisioned myself as a great and financially successful writer. While I’ve had some success as a professional writer and publisher, I’m nowhere near as successful as I have envisioned myself to be. There are more than enough outside forces (fatigue, stress, competition from other writers) that distract me from my great goals as a writer. Keeping my great vision in life, such as an influential and multi-millionaire writer, helps me to break through my challenges as a writer.
I suppose this could help any of us achieve our great goals in life:
have a clear and grand vision of our great goals
have a grand vision that magnifies and embellishes our great goals in life
